Sounds like you've been busy, which is wonderful. It is so good to reconnect with people that were such an important part of our life. At that time we didn't appreciate things like we do now.
I remember such great times with your mom and dad. Your dad brought you and I our first hula hoops......and when we got loud he'd just turn down his hearing aide.
I don;t know if maybe Jeanette and Wayne have been married about the same time. But I think Denny and I are the only ones that married whenin the class. And we are good freinds as well. How many couples can say that they can spend all day working together and still get along after hours. It has been a trip , that I can tell you. I wish you could come also, I was thing that maybe we were not "friends" during school but time , children and grandchildren can bring you new friends.
Hi Jane, I thought initially you weren't coming but looks like you ARE! Yeah! I was in your old neck of the woods a few weeks ago at Mrs. Draughn's estate sale. Right on your street! Looking forward to seeing you and all the lads and lasses!
It was so good to see you again, Jane, and to catch up on a bit of the last 40 years. We needed an entire week rather than a quick weekend! Wondering if your weather is cooling down? It's been very chilly here with drizzle and fog--only in the upper 40's this afternoon. This is NOT typical for west TX, but I'm really loving it. Don't work too hard, and do stay in touch, please! Thanks again for coming home! Wouldn't have been the same without you!
hey, finally getting settled down to work again. I am so glad you got to come. It was so great seeing you. Maybe next time Larry can come. Haven't heard from you on here for awhile. Take care and keep in touch. love ya, Kathy
I deleted the whole post when I made a correction. I had said that it was great seeing you at the reunion but I wish we'd had more time to talk. Good thing we have had the chat on here to catch up before hand.
Is it cold there yet? It is beginning to cool off here and is so nice.
