Great mod with many hours of fun playing online with my dad. Best ww1 game i have played.. i got this mod and then the next day nhc mod wasnt working. ive uninstalled and reinstalled the full game 3 times now nothing works.. It is so much better considering a bit later in the game tanks arent spammed that much and tanks are pretty weak but highly offensive. Don't download this Mod from Steam ATM! It s up with other mods like Blitzkrieg and Eastern-Front Mod. (You are not able to launch other mods anymore) Download it from Moddb then you can enjoy this cool mod without destroying other mods.. Is a fun game Mostly when you swarm the enemies trench when they have few soldiers and you fill their trench with hundreds of soldiers. When we are talking about Company of Heroes, this great game, we must mention the mods too! "THE GREAT WAR 1918" a great and courageous action to use a perfect game engine and show what happened on world war 1. What exactly we remember as bloody, harsh, hard and brutal battles on the frontlines and long defensive trench lines. Fighting for days and months and advance only for a few meters, if you had a chance and didn't retake it. This mod provides a large variety of assets from WW1. New commanders and filthy tactics, chemical warfare. If you don't die from bullets shells, you will die by gas. You can create your trenches and place the ladders by your self. Use your tanks to pass above the trenches and break into the enemy lines.. Great mod for CoH, but when we can play with other factions then British and German Empire ?. It's slower paced than the standard game or mods like Modern Combat. There are around 5 maps; all littered with trenches and defensible positions. Crew sizes are larger, and so less vulnerable to snipers. It's worth taking a look at, but I think it's less fun than the standard game at this time. If other factions are introduced, that may change. The Steam version's multiplayer browser shows online friends as offline and doesn't show LAN option with this mod and so I haven't been able to play in multiplayer yet.. Great mod for CoH, but when we can play with other factions then British and German Empire ?. Good mod, looking forward to further updates, little limited for now as is but definetly one to watch
