About This Game

Story

After a tragic incident which took the lives of both her parents, Eloise is forced to live with a man claiming to be her uncle. Indifferent, weird, and expressionless, he’s everything that Eloise would normally define as ‘unreliable’. Yet, little by little, she finds herself opening up to this odd and mysterious character named Steve. She even comes to believe that maybe everything will be alright from now on.

That is, until she found a weird note concerning her parents’ deaths next to the garbage bin.

This is a rather decent story. It is filled with twists and misdirections. A little girl loses her parents in an accident, and has to go live with her uncle Steve. However, Steve may not be what he appears. And because of that, danger swirls about.

Fully recommend.. First of all, I'll start by saying that even if it doesn't last long (5h or so), it's totally worth the cost even at full price. This is a kinetic novel, meaning that you have no meaningful choice allowed and therefore no replayability but it's perfect as it is.
The art is good, the story is consistant and well-written, the music is not the best I've ever heard but it sure serves well its purpose of accompanying us on this journey.
The characters are bright, not dumb or irritating, you get to know them, to see them evolve, to acknowledge their issues and to feel empathy. My favourite one is the male main character, he has a really tortured personality but his awkwardness makes him so hilarious at times, I really came to like him. His actual job was my first guess at the beginning of the game. The outcome may have been obvious for some too but honestly, until the very last sentence, I prayed for a good ending. I'll be honest, I cried at the end.. First of all, I'll start by saying that even if it doesn't last long (5h or so), it's totally worth the cost even at full price.
