After HS graduation, I spent 2 years at USM before tranferring to University of Florida where I earned a B.A. & M. Ed. I spent a year working as a janitor and substitute teacher before coming to Houston, Teaxas to attend law school in 1976. Graduated 1979. Worked in Houston until 1982 when I moved to Galveston, Texas to become an assistant criminal district attorney. In 1984 entered private practice and married my wife Patty (10 years younger than I), a school teacher and great mother. In 1996 we had our first child, Moore. In 1998 then Govenor George W. Bush appointed me Judge of the 212th District Court of Galveston County. I served for one year before being defeated by a liberal democrat. Also, in 1998 our daughter Marlee was born. 2000, I was appointed Municipal Judge for City of Kemah, Texas, where I still serve while maintaing a law practice in Galveston. Moore plays competitive junior golf and Marlee is a competitive dancer. Patty is in her 28th year of her teaching career. I attended 10 different schools and colleges, but my fondest memories are from my senior year at Liberty .
