I remember high school as such a good, fun time. I think I was so lucky to have the friends that I did. I felt surrounded by people who genuinely cared about each other.
Tell us about you?
I live in Asheville, NC, and work at a hospital here as a speech pathologist. I have lived in Louisiana, Florida, Oregon and Texas, as well as twice in Asheville. I came out of the closet about 30 years ago and have a committed relationship with a very good, kind and handsome man named Russell (we will celebrate our 5 year anniversary in October).
Hope you and your partner will be able to join us in Oct. It has been such fun hearing from everyone and it will even more fun to see all. I hear Ashville is a beautiful place so if you get to come, bring pictures!
Oh I hope so. This website is great. i will go into with drawls next week since I start school Monday. grrrrrrr Can't reunion at school lol Take care and I will keep fingers you all can come.
Good to hear from you Milton. Hope I get to see you at the reunion. Ashville is a beautiful place. We have stayed at the Grove Park Inn there and loved it.
Wonderful that you're close by! I'm free most weekends and would love to have lunch with you and Russell sometime soon. I probably won't get Larry to come...lunch in town is not his thing...and he stays close to home anyway. I'll come to Asheville or meet you somewhere in between (Hendersonville maybe?) and I'll tell tales on you that you don't want Russell to know about! Email and phone are on my page here. Let's do this soon.
I'm free Sat, Aug 8. I know some good places to eat in Hendersonville, but it's no problem for me to come to A'ville or Skyland, Fletcher, or anywhere else. I'm not big on Thai food, but can---and do---go for anything else. After all, it's about you and not about the food. You pick the time and place, and I will show up. Post some photos.
