Always loved our football games on the crisp fall nights--especially when we won! :) Loved working on the newspaper, too. I guess that we just all had fun together even though we didn't always realize it at the moment.
Tell us about you?
I'm married with children!!! Five of them who were homeschooled by yours truly while we traveled for 16 years in evangelism! My husband Alan is now retired from ministry, and we live in west Texas with the cactus, coyotes and rattlesnakes. We have 6 precious grandchildren (I'll bring pictures!) who are scattered from AZ to NY. We are busy still with 2 businesses that Alan owns. The man doesn't know the meaning of the word "retired"!!
Of course, your sister Karen. I was trying to think of classmates and just didn't change my train of thought. Duh.
Yes, she knows we are in Brookhaven. I haven't seen her in years but right after we moved here we were in a restaurant one night and she and her husband were there and we went over and talked to them. I used to see him in the grocery but haven't seen him in a long time.
Hi Janice - Good to hear from you and looking forward to seeing you in October. I know you will enjoy being back in MS with the tall pines instead of the cacti!! I can hardly believe it has been 40 years since we all left the nest at Liberty. Lots of changes to catch up on. See you then.
Debra
Janice, I can't get over your hair. What happened to all of that pretty black hair that you use to have? Ha! Ha! Time is creeping up on all of us, isn't it?
I have some grey, but not a lot. Take care!
